Water and Hydration


Water is one of the easiest things you can do to keep you healthy. Hydration is not only an important aspect of life it will make your electrolysis sessions progress faster. By water I mean pure water and not water modified by coffee, tea, or herbs, as pure water will be easier for your system to process and therefore hydrate you faster.

Here is a simple recipe for success that I use. As always, I am not a physician and you should consult your doctor about any questions that you may have regarding hydration.



  • Drink half your weight in ounces over the course of a day (e.g. 120 1lb person should drink 60 ounces of water per day)
  • For every caffeinated or alcoholic drink, drink twice the amount of water (e.g. 8 oz of a coffee drink means you should drink 16 ounces of water) These beverages tend to dehydrate you rather than hydrate you.
  • Every 15 min of exercise drink another 8 ounces of water
  • If you are thirsty - drink water. If you have excessive thirst consult your physician.
